The "green message" or the iMessage feature which
allowed the users to get messages from other iPhone user to their iPhone and
iPad has now integrated more tightly and now it also allows to get the texts
from non-iPhone user to be forwarded to the iPad. The feature is still same for
the iPhone contacts as you can receive messages from them for free as always,
but the message from the non-iPhone user is transmitted over the carrier
network, so it might be counted and you might be billed against the same.
